BWCI - A strategic initiative of CEWiT

Broadband Wireless Consortium of India (BWCI) is a non-profit organisation comprising the major stakeholders in the Indian telecom sector. BWCI membership is open to companies and other organisations involved with cellular and wireless broadband technologies in India. This includes operators, equipment manufacturers & vendors, technology services providers, semiconductor companies, R&D institutions and government agencies.

BWCI was launched in March 2007 as a strategic initiative of CEWiT to provide a national forum addressing different aspects of broadband wireless including technology development, standardization, trials, regulation etc.
